The workshop
Alterations to what you already own.
An alterations tailor repairs and adjusts clothing — it doesn't sell you new clothing. The hem is too long, the zip has given up, the jacket doesn't sit right in the shoulder. These are jobs worth doing: the garment is good, it just needs to fit.
Come to the workshop on Werbellinstraße with the garment. Pinning and measuring happen on the premises — it's the only way to get an alteration genuinely right.

Trousers shortened
Hems shortened or re-set, with the original hem kept if you want it.
Waist & width
Trousers, skirts and shirts taken in or let out.
Jackets & coats
Length, width and sleeves adjusted.
Sleeves shortened
On shirts, blouses, jackets and coats.
Dresses & skirts
Length changed, taken in, straps adjusted.
Zips
Replaced in trousers, jackets, skirts and bags.
Seams & tears
Open seams closed, tears and holes repaired.
Buttons & fastenings
Buttons, hooks and snaps sewn on or replaced.
Curtains & home textiles
Curtains and table linen shortened and hemmed.
Fitting on site
Pinning and measuring in the workshop.

How it works
Three steps.
Bring it in
Come to the workshop with the garment. Ideally with the shoes you'll wear with it.
Pin it
We pin the alteration and measure. You see how it will sit before anything is cut.
Collect it
We tell you what it costs and when it will be ready. Then it's sewn.
No surprises: price and date are agreed before the scissors come out.
